Rights Mix is a rights agency representing translation, audio, film and merchandising rights for agents and publishers worldwide in all genres, from picture books to adult. Established in 2011, RightsMix has sold rights in over thirty languages around the world.
Rebecca Mancini started her career in publishing over 30 years ago clearing permissions for an independent news magazine. This led to more challenging work with contracts and eventually to selling foreign and domestic rights for major publishers including Penguin, Bloomsbury, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. During her twenty-year tenure as Director of Children’s Subsidiary Rights , she had the privilege of selling rights for such wonderful authors and illustrators as Chris Van Allsburg, Lois Lowry, Karen Cushman, Shannon Hale, A.A. Milne, Allen Say, JRR Tolkien, H.A. Rey, and so many other fabulously talented artists and writers. In her current role as President of RightsMix, she continues to work with some of the most creative and well-respected artists and writers, including Aaron Becker, Elise Gravel, Lita Judge, Il Sung Na, Benson Shum, Mo Willems, , Jennifer Armentrout, Maureen Johnson, Alyson Noel, Stephanie Perkins, Tracy Wolff, Julie E. Czerneda, Angelina M. Lopez, Casey McQuiston, and so many others.
Besides loving to read, travel, sing loudly (off-key) and drink copious amounts of coffee, Rebecca is thrilled that she no longer has to commute.
